It's taken a little over a year, but our dictionary has officially reached 4,000 Dovahzul words! A big thank you to everyone who's contributed!. Pogaan kogaanne! EDIT: The third edition of the Dovahzul Dictionary is now available! This 165-page PDF is up to date with all but the latest of our 4,000 words. Check it out! |

From another perspective you only need to know 2,000 words to be considered fluent. That is to say, at least in English, 2,000 words are used 95% of the time. For Dovahzul I'd say that number would be smaller, especially if people make an effort to use the canon vocabulary as much as they can, which consist of around 600 words. |
