It was four years ago when a bored college student decided to practice development by making a dictionary website. That college student as me, and that website eventually became the one you’re looking at right now.

Thuum.org has grown and changed a lot over the years. The dictionary and lessons are completely different, forums have come and gone, and a whole saga could be written about the trials and tribulations of the community wall. Through it all, one thing hasn’t changed — the strength and creativity of the community. Whether you’re an ancient member from those days of yore or only just recently joined, I want to thank each and every one of you for making this site what it is today. Thank you for bringing your passion into the hobby. Thank you for continuously helping me and each other. Thank you for being patient and understanding when things have broken, or when tough choices were needed to be made. I wouldn’t be sitting here four years later if it wasn’t for all of you. If you could walk in my shoes (and some of you quite recently have), you’d hopefully see just how important you all are for driving me to make awesome things. Unslaad kogaan.

Each year I try to make something fun for everyone to enjoy. In the past we’ve had Forelnaar and the Labyrinth games. So on the subject of awesome things, here’s a new game I’m very excited to share with you all!

Sikaav

Sikaav (“rune-join”) is a crossword game where you combine runes on the board to earn points. You can play solo, or competitively or cooperatively with up to 4 players! Join a game right away, or grab some friends and start a custom game.
