For "What", I have a blog post about that: https://masterdovahzul.wordpress.com/2019/01/05/translate-what/

For "Why", Reword the question or change to a statement demanding answers, like:

"Why are you fighting?" "Krif hi fah naan pruzah?" (Do you fight for anything good?")

"Why did the dragon fly through the forest?" "Tinvaak do bo do dovah zeim fin feykro" (Talk about the going/flying of the dragon through  the forest!"

For "How", refer to the source of the action you want the "how" for, like:

"How did you come here?" - "Talk about...": "Tinvaak do hin wundun het!" (Talk of your travel here!) or "Bo hi het naal key uv voth fahdonne?" (Come you here by horse or with friends?)

"How will the king fight the war" - Reword it: "Piraak fin jun grahmindol fah fin kein?" (Does the king have a strategy for the war?)
