Staff doesn't have an official translation for dovazul but you could substitute staff for a word like weapon (zun)

I agree with Onikvulzii. You can also add wol (oak) to the description to specify a wooden staff.

Oak weapon: wol zun, wol-zun, zunsewol

Oak hitting weapon: wol-nos zun, wol zunsenos

Oak magic/magicka staff: wol zunselah, zun wolselah
