Does anyone know what Searing is in the Dovahzul?

May 26, 2019 		Take a look at the meaning of "sear" https://www.etymonline.com/word/sear#etymonline_v_23057 Basically, it means to burn by metal. So, in dovahzul, you would just that "burn" (ag) and provide in context that something metal is doing the burning.
For example, "his hand was seared by the hot blade" becomes "Haalii lost ag naal ag tuz".
