-E at the end of the word

In the Alphabet & Pronunciation it is said, that it is /eɪ/ in the end of the word. However, in exircise on plural nouns (№4) "Tuzze" is said to be pronounced like "Too-zuh", but for me it doesn't sound like /eɪ/. How should it actually be pronounced? A phonetic transcription would be great in this case.

My mistake! The ending -e is typically pronounced like the /eɪ/ in may or fable. Here are correct phonetic transcriptions of those exercises:

  • tuzze /'tu: zeɪ/
  • krongrahhe /'kroʊn grɑ: heɪ/
  • hahhe /'hɑ: heɪ/
  • nahgahdinokke /nɑ: 'gɑ: di: noʊ keɪ/

We formerly had it listed to be pronounced (incorrectly) as the /ə/ in commbut I must have missed changing it in a few places.
