Approximate Pronunciations

Is it at all possible that the pronunciations we hear in game (and, by extension, that we use here) are just the closest that the voice actors know how to make? For example, Dovahzul <r> might be pronounced /ʀ/ instead of /r/, but none of the voice actors know how to make a uvular trill. Or <k> might be pronounced /c/ but no one can properly pronounce a palatal stop.

Yes, this would be the case. Pronunciation in game varies and is largely influenced by the voice actor's own language. For example, compare the pronunciations of the following dialogue among the different languages:

The pronunciations listed here are a best attempt at providing a unified, coherent phonology for the language. Good observation with <k> as /c/, I'll change that on the alphabet page. That is exactly how <k> should be pronounced.
