Translation for Piece or Fragment

I've been trying all kinds of synonyms from english so far but none were in the translator. The sentence I'm trying to form is "the strongest (powerful) ones are made of pieces", so any form of that sentence to make it work would be fine too, as long as the meaning doesn't change.
