No, Dovahzul is a fictional language that was created by Bethesda Softworks for the video game The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Esperanto nearly became the official language of Poland before the UN vetoed it.

To Answer Ereins Question:

English became used as universal language in a very similiar fashion to latin and greek before it.

The English colonised / conquered a lot of land and made english the official language of those countries by force. Since they had so many colonies about 1/6 of the world ended up speaking english anyway either as native or secondary language and since the power was held by english speaking countries after the World Wars it was an easy step to make English the universal language abandoning latin.

English also had the benefit of actually abandoning most of its grammar in the past 200 years making it an easy to learn language, actually the easiest to learn real life language on the planet.

However this aint set in stone right now it looks like chinese will be the next universal language in a few decades as the chinese economically own pretty much half of the entire world and make up 1/6 of the entire worlds population.

Will Dovahzul ever be spoken by a nation? Well unless you start a nation...i doubt it. So far Dovahzul isnt even developed enough to serve as official language. But if there will be "Cybernations" in the future...Thuum.org could become a "nation" speaking dovahzul ^^

Many people (all of whom found on here) use it often. I do.

Me, I don't use dovahzul in real life. But I do use the font.

But is there any chance that a country will use Dovahzul?

I don't think it's very likely at all. There are many other constructed languages (Klingon, Elvish, Dothraki, etc.) that will probably never see "official" use by a country either. The only constructed language I can think of which comes close is Esperanto, which wasn't made for a science-fiction/fantasy setting.

The only chance is in a parallel universe, in which English was used in a video game and this website is devoted to creating, and learning it.

Is Esperanto from a game too?

No, Esperanto was created in the early to mid 20th century in an attempt to create a single universal language that the whole world could speak and understand.
