What is the current status of 'ge-' and 'ver-'?

I vaguely remember reading on this site (way back, when I wasn't a member) that these two non-canon prefixes were under revision. Have they been removed, and if so, how would I create a verb that means 'make into a (noun)'?

Actually, both are still acceptable. "Ge-" means to create (noun), such as "make war" or "make peace", and "Ver-" means to render (adjective), such as "strengthen" ("to make strong").

As hiith mentioned, both are currently still acceptable.

Eventually they will both be removed. Ver- may change to something else, but ge- will be removed entirely. What will happen in place of ge- is that there will be some restructuring with the parts of speech. As far as adjectives are concerned, all adjectives will be usable as verbs that mean "to make or become (adjective)." So, mul could be used to mean "strengthen," sahlo could be used to mean "weaken," etc.

Ge- is deleted.
