First, try to find a word that hasn't been created yet. If you found one, you can make one. Then, following the submission notes, you can use Canon, Semi-Canon or your own ideas for the new word. If the word is related to a Canon word, input it into your word and work around it. Same with Semi-Canon. If youre creating a Non-Canon word that is not a compound word, such as the word for "stone" or "bone-earth", you can do whatever. I usually use a bit of Icelandic or Old Norse for some foundation and twirl in some 'alphabet soup' in it. Once you're finished, check if the word follows dovahzul grammar and spelling and also if it sounds the same as it looks and also if it sounds 'dragonic', like if you imagine that a dovah would use the word.
