Translator questions

Heres the deal, I wanted to sort of 'print' some dragon script onto my bedroom wall. I tried using your alphabet translator, and obviously it worked fine, giving the correct symbols you would see on a word wall. Are they? I thought there was a dragon 'symbol' per word, or is there one symbol for each letter like your basic alphabet. Thanks.

The latter, like English there's a basic alphabet rather than symbols or glyphs for individual words.

And the phonetic diphtongs get their own sign, as opposed to being constructed from 2 signs, so transcriptions using the dragon alphabet tend to be a bit shorter in number of signs used as opposed to the English transcription.
