Panthurax Famous quote translation

Greetings. Can an expert tell me if my translation for the following quote correct? And if not maybe provide a better one?

Tell me what is better; to be born good, or to overcome your evil nature through great effort?

The hard thing here is that "what" is not defined within canonical dovahzul which had to change the format of the question from:

TELL ME WHAT IS BETTER; TO BE BORN G8D, OR...

to

TELL ME, IS IT BETTER TO BE BORN G8D; OR...
.

(another thing is that "me" is the same as "I" in dovahzul and the same word is used for both)

Now "overcome" and "effort" can be switched with synonims such as "conquer" and "try" respectivly since they do not exist in the dragon language.

So here's my translation of the quote in dovahzul:

fun zu'u los nii pruzaan kos kiin kul, uv wah kron hin vokul sil zeim lot unt?

Any improment would be apreciated

You are more correct than 90% of those who ask this question. The only hitch is that hi strictly refers to groups of one or more that contain the addressee, never to hypothetical persons.

Here is one accepted form of the Paarthurnax quote: los pruzaan kos kiin kul, uv qahnaar kosil vokul voth lot morah "is (the) best (thing) (to) be born (morally) good, or vanquish inner evil using great focus"?
