Alcohol and weight loss on Ozempic - is it really possible to combine them?

Friends, who are losing weight on Ozempic, tell me: does alcohol interfere with the process? I am in the process of losing weight, but sometimes I want to relax - for example, have a few drinks with friends on the weekend. I don’t overdo it, but I worry that it will ruin all my efforts. I want to keep up with my progress and not be an outcast at the table...

Hi! It all depends on the amount. I found a useful article - ozempic and alcohol. It explains how much alcohol can you drink on ozempic. That is, even if you drink a little, you can then break down and eat sweets or fast food. Personally, I noticed that after a glass of wine I want to eat more. So I try to drink only on holidays and eat something light beforehand. I won’t say that it’s completely incompatible, but self-discipline is the key.

Yes, I confirm! After drinking alcohol, I started having problems with my eating behavior. I felt like I was losing control. Now I prefer non-alcoholic wine or cocktails. It's easier that way, and progress isn't slowed down.
