Falin scrambled away from the melting droids.  Whatever weapons these soldiers were using, they were dangerous. It looked as though a fight was inevitable now. Fight, then flee. Find someplace safe to hide from these things until she figures out how to get back. Her stance was low, crouched, almost animalistic.

Seeing the telltale signs of attack with trained, experienced eyes ( Due to the Sith Empire, the war that had ended just a mere 3 decades ago with the Treaty of Coruscant, and skirmishes ever since then, nearly all soldiers in the Republic have some form of training. Excluding rookies, which are outnumbered by the vets by a huge margin ), the two who just got finished melting the medical droids quickly snapped around and aimed there blasters at her, one of them sending a warning shot next to her head, melting a whole in the metal wall.

Outside, a 'citizen' had already drawn a blaster pistol of Imperial make, and was quickly gunned down by the soldiers, the growing crowd soon fleeing as a firefight broke out. These citizens were untrained, so they must have been sympathizers. Most were able to be disarmed and captured with only a few wounds, but just a little over a fourth of the twenty Imperial Sympathizers were now lying dead on the street, smoking corpses casting off a disgusting scent that was, thankfully, filtered by their helmets, same with the cracks of the sound barrier being broke by the bolts of plasma.

(( There were sympathizers and spies of/from the opposite side in both the Empire and the Republic, and these kinds of firefights were often, frighteningly so. It just goes to show the violent, chaotic state the galaxy is in, and how class another galactic war is on the horizon. ))

She ducked away from the shot before glaring at the soldier responsible. Her breathing had rapid, panicked. Of all the times to not have any ability with spells. Even just a simple Calm spell would have gone a long way in this situation. Red eyes rapidly moved between the different soldiers that had her cornered. Damn it all! Just what am I supposed to do?

(Well you can still use magic, and a calm spell because these are normal republic soldiers they aren't specifically modified, they aren't clones either so they are suceptible to illusion spells)

(But she has no aptitude with magic outside of her abilities as an Immortal. So no, she still can't use them)

(( Susceptible, but even then they are not you're average bandit. They still have better training than Dominion and Imperial soldiers. They have to, since they constantly fight Sith of all kinds, as well as the Imperial troopers alongside them. ))

(I know that, but I'm saying do you think that they could resist against mind effects from a sith lord like Syniclus or Nihilus, or even the jedi masters?)

(( What about the short-yet-intense firefight outside? She should be able to see that over the soldiers' shoulders. Or at the very least, hear the blasterfire and screaming of civilians running from the shootout. And note that stun shots were designed with normal humans and humanoids in mind, not the embodiment of gods. I'm sure Falin could resist a hefty amount of stunning fire. ))

Sergeant Jorrya moves in on her, also aiming his weapon at the woman as the firefight outside decreases to scattered blaster shots here and there. One of the soldiers moves in, reaching his hands out to her with a sedation syringe ready.

(( It would take more effort than normal on the Sith Lord's part, but in the end, no. A Clone Trooper? WAAAAAY more effort. Back to the RP! ))

Qodra'ath draws his lightsaber, pushing the button with his thumb. Woosh! The blade shone upon his face, giving his tan skin a bluish tint. Pulling one Imperial toward him, with the tug of a Force Pull, he swiped the lightsaber across his neck. The severed head drops with a muffled thump.

The three soldiers outside look up to see a Republic transport quickly approaching, dropping off a pair of troopers armed with heavy blaster cannons along with a platoon of twenty someodd soldiers. A pair of airborne combat droids, shaped like balls and having twin rapid-fire blasters on either side, follow them out. (( About the size of basketball )) The sudden reinforcements quickly force the last few sympathizers not currently dead, wounded, or subdued to surrender, dropping their weapons and raising their hands.

Vulen drew his lightsaber, which ignited to reveal an ominous red glow, and rushed an imperial trooper, hitting him in the neck with a Flying Lunge

(Same movement, but with a lightsaber:

(In the old republic, the Sith Empire was still Imperial. Imperial means "of an empire.")

(Well that's because I had misunderstood and thought she was in a different part of the city from that . . .)

Her eyes snap towards the advancing soldier. She springs at him, smacking the syringe away before delivering a knifehand strike to his throat. Spectral Senche Tigers appeared, they snarled and roared at the remaining soldiers. There wasn't a choice anymore. Fighting her way out was the only option left.
