@Frinovdun Start off with translating the meaning of the original lyrics without regard to cadence, syllable or rhyming. Then go over it, working on rhyming as well as matching the syllables and the tone. |

Major update everyone! It's taken me a long time, but I've finally figured out how to make mods for Sonic Forces! Now once the script is translated, I'll be able to mod it into the game! I've also figured out how to mod the audio too! This way I can put in the voice clips and the newly translated songs! On a smaller note, I'm still working on the main game text. It'll be a while before it's completed, but hopefully, it'll be done soon. Working on it in chunks since there's so much to organize. Plus, it will be in chronological order to make translating and voice recording a little easier! I'll be sure to make updates on my progress along the way as far as the modding is concerned. (For one example, how long certain voice clips need to be) |

Oh wow, excellent. I'm chugging along be myself with translation (IRL in the way). Also, what title is Dr. Eggman going to get in the translation? We can always transliterate it as "Doktor Eggman" (basically same pronunciation as the English) or use a title beside "doctor". In Dovahzul we have Thur (overlord) and Drog (Lord). I like that drog sounds soooo close to Doctor that it just might work. What do you think? |

@Zinrahzul I think drog could definitely work! Especially since Eggman, in some ways, is like the "lord" or "overlord" of the world since in the game he's taken over 99% of it. I also forgot to mention in the post above that I figured out how to change most of the fonts in the game into dovahzul. I'll see if I can upload an example picture later today |

Zinrahzul Same here! We should definitely use it! Quick note: I'm adding little description boxes for the cutscenes in the script just to go the extra mile in case the voice talent needs it. I've also found a way to remove the voices from the cutscenes, leaving only the music and sound effects! |
