Musty Smell Every Time AC Turns On

Every time I turn on the AC, there’s this faint musty odor that lingers for a while. The filters are clean, so I’m guessing the issue might be inside the ducts. It’s been a few years since I last had anything professionally done. Anyone here know a service in Dubai that deals with this kind of thing?

That could be mold or dust buildup deep in the ducts. I had something similar after a sandstorm and it didn’t go away until I got the ducts cleaned.

This happened to us too last summer, and it turned out the ducts had years of buildup. We looked up services for AC cleaning and AC duct cleaning and ended up using https://ecoclean.ae/ac-duct-cleaning/. I didn’t expect much, but they did a full inspection, cleaned the vents and even showed us photos of the dust inside before and after. The air feels noticeably fresher now.
