5 days ago, I began taking the Memrise course for Dovahzul. It says that there are 632 words to learn, but according to the translator, it says that there are 640 words.
What exactly are those 8 words?

Not sure about the translator but if you cross-reference what's in the dictionary there are only three missing words; vomir (unallied\independant), zaamhus (slavery) and vosaraan (haste). Some dictionary entries are common misspellings and some memrise entries (namely the plural and possesive suffix sections) won't be featured in the other place for obvious reasons, this could account for any differences in number. As a side note I would highly recommend looking up new words you learn on memrise on the site dictionary to get correct definitions although a few are wrong onsite too. |

The memrise course is "old" dovahzul. Over time some new words were introduced or the meaning of words changes. |

I do not know if memrise calls the Grammar-rules-section as unique works, because then there are more "missing" words.
A quick look over the dictionary on Thuum for words that I do not know. I do not play Skyrim so I also do not know Skyrim specific words. This should help you find the difference.
Aan - slave (I know this as Zaam)
Ahroldan - <Place name>
Ahrolsedovah - Hill of the dragon
Alikr
Atmora
Bormahu (I know the meaning, not recalling it from memrise)
Bromjunaar (I know the meaning, not recalling it from memrise)
Bronjun (I know the meaning, not recalling it from memrise)
Daanik, Daniik. Memrise probably only has 1.
Gaaffesejul (I know the meaning, not recalling it from memrise)
Hillgrundhofkah - <place name>
him - your (We use hin)
Kaan
Korvanjund
kriaan/kriaan (Thuum has 2 entries)
Middovah (I know the meaning, not recalling it from memrise)
Miraad - doorway (I only know miiraad-door)
Quethsegol ahrol
Rorikhofkah
sindugahvon
sovngarde
Taazokaan (Sound very likely to be in memrise, I don't know it)
Vo/Vo- (Multiple entries on thuum)
Volunruud
Vonmindoraan (Clearly a spelling error)
Wahlaan/Wahlaan (Multiple entries on thuum)
Zaamhus
Zorox (Newer canon word)
