Hello forum members! Tell me where is the best place to get a crypto license. I've heard about Estonia and Lithuania, but they also say that Poland and Canada also have good conditions. I want to launch a service for exchanging and storing cryptocurrencies, plus in the future I'm thinking about issuing my own token. I'm interested in which countries really give permission easier and faster, and so that there are no problems with banks later. I'll be glad to hear advice from those who have already gone through the registration process.

Now there are several countries where it is really profitable to get a license. For example, in Estonia, Lithuania or Poland the process does not take much time. The main advantage is legal work and the ability to offer clients safe services. An official license gives the right to store crypto, transfer, exchange and even issue stablecoins. Here is good information about what a crypto license is and why it is needed https://www.fintecharbor.com/crypto-license/ . If you plan to work with banks and investors, it is better to obtain a license right away.

I think that each country has its own peculiarities. It is important to consider taxes and reporting requirements. But in general, Estonia and Lithuania are really considered convenient jurisdictions. The main thing is to calculate all expenses in advance and understand which market you are targeting.

I went through this process myself not too long ago, so I can definitely share some insight. Estonia used to be the easiest, but recently they’ve tightened requirements quite a bit. Lithuania still offers a relatively straightforward path, especially for crypto exchange and custody services. Poland is solid if you’re planning long-term operations in the EU, while Canada can be attractive if you’re targeting North America, but it comes with stricter banking oversight. My advice: pick a jurisdiction that matches your future growth plans, not just speed. Along the way, I also explored tools like where to buy dogecoin to test liquidity setups.
