Hey guys!

Well, I'm think I am not the first and definetely not the last one to come for you with a topic like this.

I'll make long story short: I wanna get "change" (volbur) tattooed, but in draconic alphabet.

I am not doubting anyone's work but I just wanna make sure it's the real deal, cause it's gonna be inked in my skin hahaha
So, the translation I get from translator, and the dragon alphabet writting I get are accurate?

Thanks for any help!

I'm very glad you asked!  Many of the words you'll see here (and many of the words the translator draws from) are words we've invented to expand the language.  Volbur happens to be one of them.  If you're going to get a tattoo, I would highly recommend sticking to canon words (that is, words that are officially found in the game).

I say this because the non-canon portions of the language are subject to change, as it were, while the canon words are pretty much set in stone.  If you look up a word in the dictionary, its entry will say whether it is canon or non-canon.  You can also use the search page to make a list of canon-only words by filtering by "Canon" and leaving the "Exact Match" box unchecked.

Hope this helps!

...just an image of my fresh tattoo, to get you idea how it might look. :) Gonna add a dot at the end of the second line to make it look more centered.

I also got a Skyrim tattoo, in September ^^

It's hard to tell, since I took the photo myself, but it says "Dovahkiin fah hin kogaan mu draal"
