Dude, the magic in Oblivion was hilarious! Combine the right items and spells and you were INVINCIBLE! Although, Bethesda probably changed it up to fit the more proffesional style of Skyrim. Remember the DLCs for Oblivion? Some of the items were ridiculously overpowered.

It's a shame people judge the Elder Scrolls based on the crap they see in Skyrim. Oblivion was very ahead of it's time. Remember the Unarmed fighting skill? That should have been in Skyrim, it was so much fun to play with. Especially when the Imperial Guards are patrolling on a bridge somewhere...

Alot of people actually like skyrim more than the previous games, but that's probably because they have never played the games before it.

Precisely. That is why I frequently recommend Oblivion to others. It is so much more fun, it is a beautiful game that was ahead of its time. Lush and green...

I hate that! They treat the franchise as "Skyrim V: The Elder Scrolls" and not "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim"
