The Word Wall for TAH mentions "rek-grohiik Ulfeidr" and then goes on to describe a named pack. I reason that this is the description for a she-wolf (female werewolf). If that is indeed the case, then I submit REK- as a canon prefix. |

Is there any way to transform adjectives or nouns into verbs? (I am not a linguist, but I think that can be called causative) It seems to me that this verb transformation already happened in a few cases. It might be the suffix -iv, as we see in onik -> onikiv and (maybe) vahrukt -> vahrukiv. What do you think? |

@Zinrahzul I think, you are right and rek can functions like a prefix, although I am not shure that it really is a prefix. If that was true, it should be rekgrohiik, shouldn't it? Anyway, those are writing habits, not context-arguments, so I would use it. It's a bit like in the Hobbit where the Orks always call Tauriel the "she-elf". |
