Oh, I would love to run into someone at school or someplace that could speak Dovahzul and strike up a conversation.

I've dreamed of that. But sadly, I think I'm the only one at my school.

We should have a real dictonary, printed. How would we get one?

Maybie we could do something like pel pals, but with phone calls? It would help speaking practice, rather that just reading and writing.

Lol. I once walked up to my friend, and he actually started speaking in Dovahzul. At the time I did not even know what Skyrim was :).

That may be true, but only a tiny minority of those members are even remotely fluent. I reckon there are around a dozen relatively fluent speakers. Notably Paarth and Toxikyle.

There ought to be some sort of fluency test. Something to gauge one's progress. Hey that's not such a bad idea! Get on it, folks!

Take random words from the dictionary and testing them on it? Have basic sentences made up(http://www.wordgenerator.net/random-sentence-generator.php)

Okrand’s “Klingon Dictionary” has sold more than 300,000 copies, but as Arika Okrent observes, a dictionary-buyer is not a language-speaker. She estimates that a few thousand people know a little Klingon, several hundred can read and write it, and perhaps a few dozen can speak it fluently.

That's from a news article about Klingon. If a few thousand people know a little Klingon (we'll assume that's less than 10,000), and the language is around 25 years old, Dovahzul has a much higher growth rate already.

To add onto that, the average person has a vocabulary of 15,000 to 20,000 words, and knowing 2,000 words allows you to comprehend 95% of conversation. If you know 3,000 words, this number only goes up to 96%. This is for English, mind you, which has a massive vocabulary. The dragon language would never need so many words.

I have no idea O.o

Sometimes when I'm bored in class I write stuff in Dovahzul and show it to my friend, who has no idea what Dovahzul is. They are obsessed with The Mortal Instruments and Percy Jackson. My other friend plays Skyrim, and they probably haven't taken any time whatsoever to learn Dovahzul, whereas I'm starting to write the actual runes a little. I can remember ii, n, k, z, ah, a and s. I have about half a page in my notebook of

DOV4K3N

and another whole page of dragon names and what numbers the runes are mapped to :D I'll admit I'm not too good.
