Is it just me or is it at least a little bit strange how the fires never go out. Like the fires burning in ancient tombs are still going after hundreds of years. Anyone else curious/ have any ideas about how this could be possible.

It is said that there is an eternal, self-regenerating magic that keeps the draugr alive in Noric crypts. Possibly, this spread to the fires. Or, the draugr, when performing there duties to the dragon priests, could keep rekindling the fires so that they never go out. Also moved this to The Hearth. |

Think of it this way:
These don't make any sense logically (except maybe the fourth one), but it makes for better game-play. It's like when people try to criticize Minecraft; yes, blocks float, but there's also green monsters that come out at night and blow up in your face. They're not exactly going for realism here. |
Think of it this way:
- Why can't you sell stolen flowers? Does every-one know how to identify everything that was ever stolen?
- From the start of the game, you can carry up to 25 iron shields in your pockets while still being able to run.
- You can hold weapons on your back without any kind of scabbard or anything to hold it up
- wyverns are called dragons
- It is physically impossible to kill any-one who may serve even a little importance to you
- People can't detect when you literally steal the clothes off of their backs
- People who follow you cannot die, save by your hand
