Can you create/implement a word for Ash?

Alright, so, is there a word/combination of words for ash? Not like the tree, but as in what’s left after an item is completely burnt up?

If you'd like to do this with canon vocabulary, a compound like yol-od 'fire-snow', ag-od 'burn-snow', or sadon-od 'gray-snow' could work. Otherwise if you're fine with fanmade vocabulary, there's the non-canon word kii.
