Runes

I generally use my kindle when on the site, and every time I try to copy/paste runes, they turn into a jumble of letters and numbers. Why does this happen, and is there a way to fix it?

Runes can be written on-site by surrounding text within square brackets. Because the dragon alphabet has more characters than the English alphabet, certain dragon runes in the font are mapped to numbers instead of Latin letters.

As an example, when you surround "ah" with square brackets, the site reads it as a "4" and renders the rune for "ah". When you see the rune anywhere on the site, you're actually looking at a reskinned "4", so if you copy and paste it, you'll paste a "4".

You can download the Dragon Language Font from the Library here on the site and use that to learn which numbers correlate to which digraphs (double-letter runes) on the site. You can then use that knowledge to change any numbers you've copied and pasted, and replace them with the proper letters. That's what I do sometimes, and it works for me!

Put square brackets around anything you type.
