Best way to learn Dovahzul?

I was wondering if some of you could tell me good ways to memorize words and runes. I've been trying sheer memorization, and it just isn't working for me.

As language learner and hobby linguist - the easiest way to learn a language is to actually familiarise yourself with it as much as possible.
Read dovahzul, listen to dovahzul - sadly there aint much avalaiable yet but it helps.

Use Dovahzul as much as possible - a very effective way to learn a language is by using it. If you want to go for the extreme take a dictionary along and try to speak only in Dovahzul for some days, using the dictionary every time if you dont know a word.

However i recommend doing grammatical studies first cause unlike real living languages there wont be native speakers correcting your grammar for you

If you haven't given the Memrise course a try yet, I'd recommend it. There will be new courses soon but this one should work for now. I find practice also really helps, whether that's writing, joining an RP in the forums, or dropping by the community chat every now and then.

I'd recommend focusing on a few words at a time, using them as much as you can. In my opinion, knowing a few words really well is much more important than vaguely knowing many words. The language can be helpful here because it tends to be short and oversimplified, so a few words can carry you a long way.

I would say learning basic canon words such as hello and bye and then
progress onto non canon and so on

Play Labyrinthian game, do the canon-noncanon memrise course, use the translator for words, and keep trying to remember, that's how I'm learning.

Thanks, guys. I'm trying both of these, and they're really helpful!
