Canon words are from Skyrim or other official sources. They are made by Bethesda and are the only words that existed before this site.

Semi-canon words are based on canon words, but with arbitrary additions or changes. For instance, Naaz "outrage" is derived from the canon Nah "fury". Note that a canon prefix or suffix does not make an invented word semi-canon. Vokoraak "disbelief" is non-canon because Koraak "belief" is non-canon, even though the prefix vo- is canon.

Non-canon words can be made up any way the submitter likes. They should still follow the spelling conventions of the language.
