I have some questions about the ranks on this server first how do i rank up and second where do i see them ?

You rank up by posting in the fora and submitting words. A full list of ranks can be found at http://thuum.org/faq.php#ranks. Once you reach Aedra, the highest rank, you can reset your rank and earn a legendary badge, which, like the ranks themselves, serves no purpose other than being decorative.
