no translation for was?

So when I put in was it shows lost. but if i put lost in and translate it back to english, it shows "has" rather than "was" why is this

This gets a bit complex, but "Lost" means both "to have" and the past tense of "to be" ("was/were"). This means that "Nust lost lot kendov" could mean both "They have great warriors" and "They were great warriors". Context might be able to help you determine which it's meant to be.
