I'm still stuck on the riddle itself, but I'll think about it. Question: What made you want to use "Niid" instead of "Nid"? Isn't "Niid" kind of assumed to be a misspelling of "Nid" in the source material? |

Hahdremro That's a good catch, and my mistake! It should be [nid]. |

My rough translation: I am as sharp as a blade Most great weapons my head (what?) I have a mind, but lack thought I can honestly say that I'm stumped Is it a book? |
I am as sharp as a blade
Most great weapons my head (what?)
I have a mind, but lack thought
I can honestly say that I'm stumped
Is it a book?
paarthurnax Administrator January 29, 2018 |
Kronvullok Not a book! The second line gets confusing with the possessive suffix, but a clearer translation is "The greatest weapon of mine is my head / My greatest weapon is my head." |

Okay, so.... Sharp as a blade... Its mind is its greatest weapon, but it can't think... I want to think it's a staff, but that doesn't quite seem to fit. |
